A bigger vision

Have you ever asked God to share his vision for something with you?

Have you ever said to God – “Use me?”

Did you realise how dangerous that can be?

This is a short post this week. I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks because I have been mentally wrestling with what I think are the answers to the above questions.  I am in a place where I think God is calling me to grasp a much bigger vision than I ever imagined…and a brick wall that seems to be in the way.

So, if you pray…this week I am asking for prayer.  Pray that God’s plans will come to pass, that I will be able to do what I think he is asking of me, and that the proverbial brick wall is removed. It is all about inclusion, for adults and children with additional needs and I am excited and terrified all at he same time.  It may take a huge leap of trust for me…but I know the Lord is good and able…and completely trustworthy.

Please pray as I send out some letters, make arrangements to meet people and see where the road leads.  Forgive me for being unable to be more specific but I cannot say any more.

And you – I pray that the Lord will keep you and enable you in your work for inclusion. It is his church and it IS inclusive.

Maybe we all need a bigger vision…

Just to encourage you: think God is calling many of us to follow as He does things we’ve never seen before. When God called Moses to lead his people out of Egypt to the promised land, they hit something bigger than a wall. They were stopped by the sea! Seemingly no way forward. Sometimes God puts us in thesessituations to reveal Who He Is. Ex 14:15. God says to moses, ‘ why are you crying out to me? Tell the israelites to move on.’ God tells moses that he will divide the water so they can pass through on dry land. Sounds crazy! But through moses obedience, everyone learns to trust and fear God that day.

  3. Praying for you too. God seems to be stirring many of us up at the same time. I am seeing walls in my life that need to come down to make way for the new. Only it’s quite scary to make changes in things that have stood still for years and to embrace the way God is leading us. May you have peace and courage in pursuing the vision. Blessings 🙂 xx
